Luso opened on Charlotte Street in September 2025, celebrating the diversity of Portugal's Iberian coastline and countryside. The menu blends the familiar with the contemporary, and the wine list reflects Portugal's variety, from underwater-aged wines to the country's long tradition of fortified wines, each bottle chosen with the same care that goes into every dish.

Taking the place of Lisboeta, Luso celebrates Portugal’s Iberian Atlantic coastline where land, sea, and centuries-old wood fire cooking traditions come together. Expect refined, modern expressions of iconic dishes alongside a wine list showcasing the richness of Portugal’s terroirs. Luso is the latest chapter from MJMK Restaurants a proud evolution that honours Lisboeta’s legacy while shaping a bold new future for the team and space. About MJMK Restaurants We own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, the group includes Casa do Frango, KOL, Fonda, AngloThai, Luso and Lenny’s. Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Head Chef

Up to £70,000 a year + bonus (depending on experience)

Sous Chef

Earnings up to £50000 per annum (including Tronc) depending on experience
