Candidates Requirement

  • Lead regular bar tastings and briefings on cocktails, spirits, and beverage offerings.
  • Train and coach the bar and floor teams on service standards and product knowledge.
  • Set the tone by leading by example and creating a culture of consistency and professionalism.
  • Support a collaborative working relationship with the restaurant and kitchen teams.
  • Mentor new team members on all aspects of bar service and house standards.
  • Ensure all drinks are served to spec, with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Ensure correct pouring, batching, and preparation standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee the use of correct glassware, garnishes, and service temperatures.
  • Deliver a personalised and engaging bar experience that enhances guest satisfaction.
  • Interact confidently with guests at the bar and on the floor to promote beverage sales.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Support the front-of-house team during service and lead by example at all times.
  • Look for opportunities to upsell and add value to the guest journey.
  • Oversee daily and weekly stock control, including ordering, receiving, and storage.
  • Ensure all bar products are correctly stored, labelled, and rotated.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised bar at all times.
  • Monitor beverage margins, help maintain target GP and manage wastage.
  • Report stock variances and collaborate with the General Manager on controls and improvements.

Taking the place of Lisboeta, Luso celebrates Portugal’s Iberian Atlantic coastline where land, sea, and centuries-old wood fire cooking traditions come together. About MJMK Restaurants


MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango. In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a fine dining restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients.
