Lenny’s is a new pizzeria on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden, from Max Lewis and MJMK Restaurants. The result of Max’s extensive travels to New Haven, Connecticut, it is built around pizzas that are crispy, chewy and charred, a revival of his much-loved pop-up now finding a permanent home in the heart of Covent Garden. We’re building the opening team now.

We're looking for a Bartender to join the opening team at Lenny's, making and serving drinks with pace, precision and warmth. You'll be part of what makes every visit to the bar feel personal, from the first order to the last round.

This role suits someone who loves being behind the bar, thrives under pace, and takes pride in getting every drink right. You'll work closely with the Head Bartender and floor team to keep service flowing smoothly all night.

This is a hands-on role for someone ready to help build something from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve every drink with care, accuracy, and consistency throughout service
  • Guide guests confidently through the drinks menu, including allergens
  • Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organised so you are always ready for the next order
  • Work closely with the Head Bartender to keep pace sharp and quality high
  • Handle guest requests and feedback with warmth, and make every visit to the bar feel special
  • Support with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage so the bar runs smoothly
  • Follow licensing, allergen, and food safety procedures at all times
  • Back the wider team through the busy moments and celebrate the wins together

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes real pride in every drink they make and loves the buzz of a busy bar. You will bring:

  • Experience behind a bar in a busy, quality restaurant or bar
  • A genuine passion for drinks, cocktails, and hospitality
  • The confidence to talk guests through the menu, including allergens
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail making
  • A calm, organised head when service gets busy
  • A sharp eye for the small touches that make a drink memorable
  • A team first attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
  • A hunger to learn, grow, and take real pride in your craft
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and festive periods

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.

2024 saw two new ventures: Fonda, a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair, our second collaboration with Santiago Lastra, and AngloThai in Marylebone, a debut restaurant from husband-and-wife John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients.
