Assistant Restaurant Manager – MJMK Restaurants Casa do Frango London Bridge

KOL · Fonda · AngloThai · Luso · Casa do Frango · New Opening

(2 Michelin stars, World's 50 Best Restaurants)

£42,500 to £47,500 (dependent on experience)

Location: Full-time, site-based, SE1 , London

Casa do Frango is rooted in the food and culture of Portugal, inspired by co-founder Marco's upbringing around fire-cooking, family meals and trips to the local food markets. Casa means home, and that sense of generosity runs through everything from the kitchen to the welcome at the door. With three locations, London Bridge, Mayfair and Victoria, each critically acclaimed for its piri-piri chicken and welcoming, buzzy atmosphere. We're looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the floor management team at Casa London Bridge.

This role exists to support the Restaurant Manager in running a smooth, well-organised floor at Casa London Bridge, stepping in to lead shifts and support the team day to day.

Casa is built on connection, and that starts with our team, who take real pride in doing things properly and doing them well. If you love food, drink and hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a hands-on, floor-facing leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in leading daily floor operations.
  • Run shifts independently, covering briefings, table plans and service flow.
  • Train and coach waiters, runners and hosts on Casa London Bridge's standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and VIP requests calmly and professionally.
  • Monitor stock, cash handling and till procedures during your shifts.
  • Support rota planning and holiday cover across the floor.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and health and safety standards during service.
  • Act on the Restaurant Manager's behalf when they're off site.
  • Report shift performance and guest feedback to the Restaurant Manager.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone ready to take the next step into floor leadership. You will bring:

  • Experience running shifts or sections in a busy restaurant.
  • The ability to lead a team confidently during service.
  • A calm, professional approach to guest feedback and VIP requests.
  • Strong organisational skills across rotas and stock.
  • Willingness to act on the Restaurant Manager's behalf when required.
  • An eye for detail across service and presentation.
  • Sound knowledge of licensing and health and safety basics.
  • Positive, proactive mindset with a desire to develop and progress

What we offer

  • 50% team discount across all MJMK restaurants.
  • Up to £500 team referral bonus.
  • Opportunity to grow within one of London's most ambitious hospitality groups.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay after one year with us.
  • Paid company sick pay after one year, up to 5 days.
  • Extra day's holiday every year you're with us, up to 5 extra days.
  • Mental health and well-being assistance via Hospitality Action, offering free advice and counselling.
  • Enhanced pension contributions after 5 years with us.
  • Anniversary scheme reward for every year you're with us.

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.

2024 saw two new ventures: Fonda, a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair, our second collaboration with Santiago Lastra, and AngloThai in Marylebone, a debut restaurant from husband-and-wife John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. Within three months of opening, AngloThai earned a Michelin star.

In the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, AngloThai was named The Square Opening of the Year and ranked 7th in the Top 100 list, followed by KOL at number 50. Luso, a contemporary Portuguese restaurant in Fitzrovia, opened in September 2025.

We're building ambitious restaurant brands with a focus on quality, creativity and guest experience, and we're just getting started.
