We're looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Junior Marketing Manager to work across our Chef Led restaurants. MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants:

  • KOL – fine dining, tasting menu only, Mexican-inspired restaurant located in Marylebone, with chef patron Santiago Lastra (previously of Noma and Mugaritz). KOL has a Michelin star and is listed as No 23 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants (highest ranked restaurant in the UK) amongst other accolades.
  • Lisboeta – premium Lisbon-inspired restaurant by celebrity chef Nuno Mendes, located on Charlotte Street, in Fitzrovia. The restaurant has received incredible critical acclaim and is listed both in the Michelin guide and the World’s 50 Best Discovery list.
  • Fonda – a contemporary Mexican a-la-carte concept from KOL Chef Patron, Santiago Lastra, in Mayfair opening in 2024.
  • AngloThai – debut restaurant from the brilliant chef John Chantarasak, focusing on Thai recipes using British ingredients, opening in 2024

Our Junior Marketing Manager will have a strong social media and digital skill set, and be passionate about the hospitality industry. The role will work as part of a cross functional sales and marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

You should have excellent communication and people skills. You'll be required to work very closely with three Chef Patrons, and together with the Head of Marketing, understand their vision, create content, and help to deliver the marketing strategy for each brand using all resources available to you.

You'll have a creative flair and an ability to understand the distinct differences between different brand personalities and be able to communicate that both visually and in tone of voice. You will use your organisational and planning skills to deliver marketing content to the highest standard and to strict deadlines. You will have excellent attention to detail and be to brief marketing initiatives to the wider operational team. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing on the full marketing strategy, including local business initiatives, partnerships, digital, content and copy writing to deliver campaigns that lead to exceptional guest experiences, both online and inside the restaurants that are best in class.

The Junior Marketing Manager will be a team player and will also work closely with the wider marketing team including the Social Media & Content Manager and Marketing Coordinator to deliver the marketing strategy and comms. This role needs to have a warm and engaging persona and collaborate closely with all stakeholders, both internal and external. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most renowned chefs in London and on two exciting openings.

Desirable Skills

  • Creative flair and strong digital editing skills
  • Ability to work with and brief internal and external partners
  • Great copy writing skills
  • Exceptional people and relationship building skills
  • Technical expertise in working with systems such as Seven Rooms, CRM, Google Analytics would be preferrable
  • A passion for the hospitality industry
