AngloThai New Restaurant opening!

We are delighted to be opening the long-awaited and critically acclaimed AngloThai, in partnership with John and Desiree Chantarasak, in central London this summer.

John draws influences from both sides of his Thai and British heritage to create dishes inspired by the eclectic cuisine of Thailand, while utilising the abundance of world class ingredients found within the British Isles. An alumnus from celebrated Thai restaurants Som Saa (London) and Nahm (Bangkok), John has spent the last decade honing his craft to bring this unique and exciting concept to the London dining scene.

Desiree looks to her relationships with sustainably focused, small batch wine producers in Europe to complement the food at AngloThai, with many wines celebrating the craftsmanship and passion of a new generation of exciting wine growers. Well crafted, ethically minded and deeply delicious wines are the focus at AngloThai.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Reception & Events Manager to lead the launch - inspire our team, run a seamless service and create magical moments for our guests. We want our service to be approachable, fun and consistent whilst always ensuring high standards are met.

A love for hospitality and a strong attention to detail is a must with a desire to grow and develop within MJMK restaurants.

A Reception & Events Manager at AngloThai is:

. A hands-on, natural leader who can support the General Manager and curate the guest experience offering in the restaurant, leading the reservations team so they are operating in the best way possible to offer an excellent restaurant experience.

. A strong communicator with all departments regarding to reservations ensuring all guests receive the best possible experience through genuine hospitality.

. Able to work with integrity, generosity, and excellent attention to detail for people & product.

. Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, and hospitality and able to exceed guests’ expectations.

. A champion of our values and ethos, motivating the team to be always working to a ‘Best in Class’ level.

. Confident in building new and nurturing established relationships with guests and stakeholders wishing to connect with AngloThai and the brand.

. Experienced in dealing with guest feedback and the relevant platforms.

. Commercially aware and able to proactively drive new sales opportunities as well as being the first point of contact for all bookings and enquiries.

. Working closely with the General Manager to manage forecasting, covers, events and optimising the restaurant capacity and experience.

As a Reception & Events Manager at AngloThai, we’ll offer you:

· Up to £40,000, subject to experience
