AngloThai New Restaurant opening

We are delighted to be opening the long-awaited and critically acclaimed AngloThai, in partnership with John and Desiree Chantarasak, in central London this summer.

John draws influences from both sides of his Thai and British heritage to create dishes inspired by the eclectic cuisine of Thailand, while utilising the abundance of world class ingredients found within the British Isles. An alumnus from celebrated Thai restaurants Som Saa (London) and Nahm (Bangkok), John has spent the last decade honing his craft to bring this unique and exciting concept to the London dining scene.

Desiree looks to her relationships with sustainably focused, small batch wine producers in Europe to complement the food at AngloThai, with many wines celebrating the craftsmanship and passion of a new generation of exciting wine growers. Well crafted, ethically minded and deeply delicious wines are the focus at AngloThai.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the launch - inspire our team, run a seamless service and create magical moments for our guests. We want our service to be approachable, fun and consistent whilst always ensuring high standards are met.

A love for hospitality and strong attention to detail is a must with a desire to grow and develop within MJMK.

An Assistant Restaurant Manager at AngloThai is:

. A hands-on, natural leader who can support the Restaurant Manager to nurture and grow a large team orientated around genuine hospitality.

. An enthusiastic and proactive individual, who is happy taking responsibility for all areas of the restaurant.

. Truly passionate and dedicated about delivering outstanding dining experiences and creating a memorable time for our guests.

. A skilled manager, able to pass on knowledge, motivation, and inspiration to our team.

. Able to work with integrity, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

. Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine and hospitality and able to exceed guests’ expectations.

. Responsible for their knowledge and learning in their job role, always looking to be consistently better.

You will deliver inspiring leadership; expert training; team empowerment and development of knowledge. You will be a great floor personality; energetic and engaging with our guests, focused on building strong and genuine hospitality.

Key requirements for this role are a passion for best-in-class hospitality, generosity of spirit, a positive outlook, and love of all things restaurants and people.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at AngloThai, we’ll offer you:

· Up to £40,000, subject to experience

· 25% discount across all MJMK restaurants
