Reservations Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end reservations process, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest journey from booking to arrival.
  • Manage the reservations system (SevenRooms), optimising table allocation, pacing, and booking policies to maximise both guest experience and revenue.
  • Lead communication with guests via phone, email, and online platforms — handling VIPs, special requests, and last-minute changes with warmth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the restaurant’s management and front of house teams to align daily operations, guest preferences, and pre-service planning.
  • Monitor and report on reservation trends, guest feedback, and no-show/cancellation rates to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and manage guest database and profiles, ensuring key preferences and notes are consistently updated.
  • Support in the execution of exclusive events, group bookings, and high-profile guest experiences.
  • Train and guide hosts and other team members on reservations best practices, tone of voice, and service standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Luso — upholding a tone that’s professional, warm, and aligned with our identity as a contemporary Portuguese restaurant.

Opening September 2025 on Charlotte Street, Luso is a contemporary Portuguese restaurant developed in collaboration with acclaimed chef Leandro Carreira, known for his bold, ingredient-led approach and time at the legendary Mugaritz. Taking the place of Lisboeta, Luso celebrates Portugal’s Iberian Atlantic coastline where land, sea, and centuries-old wood fire cooking traditions come together. About MJMK Restaurants


MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango. In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a fine dining restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin Star, named No. 17 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
