MJMK Restaurants

London£40K-£45K, dependent on experienceFull time

MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango in London Bridge, inspired by Marco’s Portuguese heritage. We later expanded to Piccadilly (2022) and Victoria (2023). In 2020, we partnered with chef Santiago Lastra to open KOL in Marylebone, celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin Star and was named No. 17 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

In 2022, we launched Lisboeta on Charlotte Street with renowned Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes. 2024 saw two new ventures: Fonda, a modern Mexican restaurant on Heddon Street—our second collaboration with Santiago—and AngloThai in Marylebone with John Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. Within three months, AngloThai earned a Michelin star, and Fonda was included in the Michelin Guide.

At MJMK, we’re passionate about creating unforgettable experiences, delivering genuine hospitality, and sharing incredible food and drink in beautiful spaces. We are now hiring a Content Manager to work across all our brands. We’ll offer you:

  • 50% staff discount on food across all MJMK restaurants.
  • 33 days holiday at Support Office, including Bank Holidays.
  • The opportunity to shape the creative direction of some of London’s most exciting restaurants.
  • Mental health and well-being assistance via Hospitality Action, offering free advice and counselling.
  • An enhanced pension plan after five years with us.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Building strong relationships with General Managers and kitchen teams to coordinate content creation seamlessly, ensuring shoot timings align with restaurant operations.
  • Developing high-quality content that reflects each restaurant’s unique atmosphere and aesthetic across photo and video.
  • Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager to establish a strong visual identity for all brands.
  • Organising and attending shoots (menu, interior, lifestyle) to create a comprehensive visual archive.
  • Managing our social media presence, crafting engaging posts, stories, and engagement strategies to bring our brands to life.
  • Writing persuasive, engaging copy for websites, menus, newsletters, and journals, ensuring consistency in tone and voice.
  • Overseeing online reviews and feedback, engaging with our community and using insights to refine content strategy.
  • Producing basic design collateral using Canva, InDesign, or Figma.

This is a full-time role, based from the office or from our restaurants. If you’re a passionate, personable, and creative Content Manager who loves hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.
