We looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team at MJMK Restaurants.

As Head of Financial Planning & Analysis you will oversee all financial operations for MJMK Restaurants, ensuring the business continues to thrive, compliant, and is ready for growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping the finance function to be best-in-class, providing valuable insight across our 7 London locations and support office.

Head of Financial Planning & Analysis Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis to support business growth and profitability, and ensure we meet our budgets
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth
  • Analysis of P&L variances to budget / prior year
  • Lead the creation of annual budgets, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure forecasts and reporting.
  • Provide financial reports and insight to the operations team as necessary
  • Modelling of potential new sites / capex
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of KPI reporting
  • Ownership of our 3 year plan model
  • Support future fundraising
  • Manage the production of the monthly board pack


We’re looking for in a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of commercial finance experience within hospitality
  • Proven track record analysing data to drive business performance. Previous roles might include Head of FP&A, Senior Analyst, or a similar senior role.
  • Highly analytical with first class presentation skills. A real understanding of how to pull out key numbers, and present them to non-financial people in a way that influences behaviour
  • An exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of hospitality and its financial challenges
  • Passion for the restaurant industry and a commercial mindset
