Guest Relations Manager Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in guest relations manager, front-of-house management, or hospitality leadership roles.
  • Previous experience in fine dining or Michelin-star establishments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Mexican cuisine and culture to deliver authentic guest experiences is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – able to engage with high-profile guests and handle sensitive situations gracefully.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Organisational and multitasking skills to manage reservations, special requests, and VIP services.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse clientele.
  • Warm, approachable, and guest-focused mindset.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain Michelin-level service standards.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

About MJMK Restaurants


MJMK Restaurants own and operate a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango. In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a fine dining restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin Star, named as one the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.


2024 saw the launch of two new ventures: Fonda, a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair—our second collaboration with Santiago Lastra—and AngloThai in Marylebone, the debut restaurant from husband-and-wife team John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. Within three months of opening, AngloThai earned a Michelin star.


At the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, AngloThai was named 'The Square Opening of the Year' and ranked 7th in the Top 100 list, followed by KOL at number 50. September, saw the opening of Luso, a contemporary Portuguese restaurant in Fitzrovia.
